Iowa works to prevent bullying and suicide

Your Life Iowa, an anti-bullying and suicide prevention service for the state of Iowa, began in November, 2012.  Teens can find information on how to identify and deal with bullying and the issue of suicide. Parents and educators can receive information and resources needed to address these topics.

Funded by the Iowa Department of Public Health with services provided by Boys Town, trained counselors are available 24/7 to offer crisis help as well as provide resources by calling 1-855-581-8111.   Help is also available seven days a week by texting TALK to 85511 between 4-8 pm.
